With regard to the shapes of conventional induction motor rotors, because a slit is provided at the outer circumferential part of an enclosed slot, there have been problems such as an increase of an equivalent air gap, the management of the air gap, and shaping an end ring so as to prevent the end ring from covering the slit. An induction motor rotor of the present invention comprises a cage-shaped secondary conductor, wherein the induction motor rotor is characterized in that: a rotor slot comprises an outer circumferential slot near to the outer circumferential part of the rotor, and comprises an inner circumferential slot communicating with the outer circumferential slot and formed inside the outer circumferential slot; the circumferential width (TC) of the innermost circumference of the outer circumferential slot is less than the circumferential width (TD) of the outermost circumference of the inner circumferential slot; and the circumferential width of the outer circumferential slot decreases towards the outer circumferential part of the rotor.
