A wavelength selection switch (100) having: an input/output port (110) for inputting and outputting a wavelength-division multiplexing signal; a dispersive element (130) for dispersing the light emitted from an input port (110a) to generate a plurality of light beams having different wavelength bands; a light-collecting element (140) for collecting the generated plurality of light beams and deflecting the light beams in mutually parallel fashion; a MEMS mirror array (160) having a plurality of movable mirrors (162) for correspondingly deflecting the plurality of light beams deflected in mutually parallel fashion; and an optically transparent parallel plate (150) disposed between the light-collecting element (140) and the MEMS mirror array (160). The inclination of the parallel plate (150) in relation to the optical axis (142) of the light-collecting element (140) is adjusted so that the centers of the plurality of light beams coincide with the center of the plurality of movable mirrors (162).
