The system (100) has a camera (115) movable by a moving device i.e. turntable, with respect to different positions of a three-dimensional object (105) for capturing images of the object. A processing device (120) determines whether sufficient images are captured by the camera from the different object positions in order to create a three-dimensional representation of the object as a data structure in a data memory (125) of a programmable microcomputer. The processing device evaluates the captured images and outputs an evaluation of an object state.
