<p>PURPOSE: A location recognition system and method thereof are provided to recognize a location based on signal strength by measuring the signal strength in a moving node or a fixing node. CONSTITUTION: Fixing nodes(20, 30) includes location information for unit spaces(25, 35). A mobile node(40) receives a location recognition message for confirming a location from each fixing node. The moving node selects the fixing node which transmits a location recognition message including the highest signal strength in received beacon messages. A location recognition server(10) manages the unit space of the selected fixing node as the location of the moving node through a location table.</p> |
