A fuel gas supply system that is for a gas engine and that is capable of supplying fuel gas at a low-fluctuation fixed pressure to a fuel gas supply means is provided. In the fuel gas supply system (1), a high-pressure tank (3) and a gas cylinder (5) are connected by a supply passage (4), and an electromagnetic pressure regulator valve (6) is interposed in the supply passage (4). The electromagnetic pressure regulator valve (6) is formed in a manner so as to regulate the gas pressure of fuel gas flowing through the supply passage (4) in accordance with the current flowing therewithin, and the gas pressure on the downstream side of the electromagnetic pressure regulator valve (6) is detected by means of a low-pressure-side pressure sensor (9). Also, a controller (10) is electrically connected to the electromagnetic pressure regulator valve (6), and the controller (10) controls the current flowing through the electromagnetic pressure regulator valve (6) in a manner so that the pressure detected by the low-pressure-side pressure sensor (9) becomes a predetermined target pressure.
