<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device having improved locking strength. <P>SOLUTION: The reclining device includes: a first cam 31 disposed between a ratchet (first member) 21 and a base plate (second member) 25, and rotating on a rotation axis relatively rotated; and second cams 45 each disposed to span two adjacent pawls 41 and 43, and abutting on surfaces of the two pawls 41 and 43 which are opposite to surfaces on which external teeth 41a and 43a are provided, when being pressed by the first cam 31, wherein the first cam 31 is configured to press the second cams 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
