PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent expansion of a front end of a rubber plug as it is caulked.
SOLUTION: Three pieces of caulking pieces are extended backward from a rear end edge of an insulation barrel 9. The insulation barrel 9 is caulked to a wire coating S while each caulking piece is caulked to a crimped part 3 of a rubber plug 2. In this case, each caulking piece is caulked along a longitudinal direction of the crimped part 3 so as to cross a front end of the crimped part 3. Therefore, even if caulking is performed, the front end of the crimped part 3 is not expanded. In addition, since caulking is performed along the longitudinal direction relative to the crimped part 3, the front end of the crimped part 3 is securely pressed even if an installation position of the rubber plug 2 is deviated in a cross direction, therefore preciseness is not required in management of the installation position of the rubber plug 2.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
