<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter being excellent in brightness, contrast and the like, having vivid and high quality color characteristics, and also being more excellent in resistance and the like than those of conventional filters and having higher reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A colored resin composition for manufacturing a color filter of the present invention is easily obtained by using a certain coloring agent compound, and in addition by mixing a binder resin, a solvent, a hardener and the like.
