A three-dimensional display device provided with a mobile body status detection unit for detecting the status of a vehicle, a screen synthesis processing unit for generating a right-eye and left-eye image or video for two-dimensional display or three-dimensional display of an image or video to be displayed, an image reproduction device (5) for reproducing the image or video generated by means of the screen synthesis processing unit, and a three-dimensional display monitor (6) for inputting the image or video to be displayed which was reproduced by means of the image reproduction device (5) and for displaying said image or video in three dimensions, wherein, in accordance with the mobile body status detected by means of the mobile body status detection unit, the screen synthesis processing unit (4) switches between outputting, to the image reproduction device (5), the right-eye and left-eye image or video for two-dimensional display or the right-eye and left-eye image or video for three-dimensional display.
