<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field vertical movement type electrostatic motor that remains in operation even when put in any attitudes or put upside down, and to raise an output of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: An electret mover having a gradient-distributed charge distribution is put instead of obliquely putting a conductor plate-like mover to which electric charges are injected by electrostatic induction in a vertical electric field. An electret having an opposite polarity to which electric charges are gradient-distributed in a similar way is combined with the above electret to obtain a mover. The gradient-distribution of electric charges can be realized easily by putting an electret material at rest under a corona discharge wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
