<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure that protects an imaging device and preserves clear visibility for the imaging device so that the imaging device may stably obtains a beautiful image repeatedly. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment, an enclosure includes a housing which has a transparent window. A shutter mechanism is placed on the housing and the transparent window, and an opening is formed in inside. The shutter covers the opening and does not block the opening.
