<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that solves a problem that a controller mounted in a memory medium hangs up due to an application of static electricity during the access operation, which is associated with a nature of a memory medium having low static-electricity resistance. <P>SOLUTION: When a memory medium is detected to be hung up, a control part of a medium controller controls respective media to be turned OFF/ON so that a user can recover the medium without the need of recovery operation such as insertion/withdrawal of the medium in the case of hung-up of a memory medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
