<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early detect abnormality, by seizing a sign of abnormal vibration in advance based on state monitoring of stability of a shaft vibration system, in a centrifugal fluid machine having an active magnetic bearing. <P>SOLUTION: This centrifugal compressor includes a rotor constituted by installing an impeller on a rotary shaft, the active magnetic bearing for supporting the rotor, a sensor arranged in response to the magnetic bearing and detecting displacement of the rotor, a control device for controlling the active magnetic bearing, and a host control means for controlling the control device. The rotor is excited by the magnetic bearing at a predetermined time interval based on a command from the host control means, a shaft vibration response and a transfer function are determined based on displacement detected by the sensor and the command from the host control means, a forward rotating mode and a backward rotating mode are separated from the determined transfer function, a maximum value of a gain characteristic in the separated two modes is calculated, and a time change in the maximum value of the obtained gain characteristic is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
