The system has a toilet flushing sensor (11) provided in toilets of wagons (1-3) and detecting toilet flushing processes. The sensors directly or locally preprocessingly transmit data to a central remote service computer (ER). The computer determines estimation of passenger distribution of the trains from the data using comparison values (V). The computer transmits the estimation to the respective trains and/or concerned stations for display. The sensors are designed with Wireless local area network (WLAN)wireless modules.
