<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed deletion of a character on a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: A portable phone terminal includes: a touch panel for detecting operations performed on a surface thereof; and a controller for displaying plural buttons on the touch panel. When the touch panel detects a first operation in which a touch starts at a first position on the surface of the touch panel and ends at a second position on the surface of the touch panel, the controller receives, as input, a character string including characters corresponding to the buttons displayed on a first track connecting each point where the touch is detected from the start of the touch at the first position until the end of the touch at the second position. When a second operation which is a predetermined operation is detected after the first operation is performed and a third operation which is an operation for following the first track is further detected after the second operation, the controller receives deletion of a character corresponding to the button displayed on a track followed by the third operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
