<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multipurpose furniture that is basically designed as a sofa with a width comparable to the height of a human being and can also be used as a bed depending on how it is assembled. <P>SOLUTION: In the multipurpose furniture 1, a U-shaped base 3 is constituted by covering both side faces of a lower part and a rear surface side of a seat plate 7 with side plates 8; a partition plate 15 is mounted at the inner center where a reinforced rod 9 is mounted at the lower part of the side plate 8 of the inner both sides of the base 3; the base 3 to which drawer supporting plates 18 are mounted is formed in the forward part of the partition plate 15 and the forward part of the side plates 8 of the inner both faces of the base 3; support plates 10 having arm rests 5 are mounted on the forward and backward parts of side plates 8 that are disposed on the outside of both sides in the longitudinal direction of the base 3; a backboard body 14 that has a backboard 4 which is provided on the upper end of a plurality of spindle boards 12, is formed on the support plates 10 which face each other; the back board body 14 is attached to the right and left support plates 10, and two drawers 6 to the lower forward portion of which casters 17 are attached are retrievably provided on both sides of lower open portions of the base 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
