<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pump capable of avoiding adhesion of a drain flowing out via a through hole formed in a pump chamber housing partitioning a pump chamber to a motor shaft by using only a draining member. <P>SOLUTION: The drain pump 1 includes an impeller body 341 disposed in the pump chamber 33, a shaft part 342 extended to an upper part from the impeller body 341 and penetrating through a through hole 331 formed in the bottom plate 361 of an upper side pump chamber housing 36 of the pump chamber 33 and a recessed part 345 which is formed in the shaft part 342 and to which the motor shaft 22 is force-fitted. The draining member 37 is attached to a shaft end part 342a exposed to an upper part from the bottom plate 361 of the upper side pump chamber housing 36 in the shaft part 342 and includes a cylindrical cylinder part 371 coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface 342e of the shaft end part 342a and an annular flange part 372 extended from the cylinder part 371 in a radial direction orthogonal to the motor shaft 22.
