<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter cleaning device capable of removing dust attached to a back side of an air filter, and collecting the removed dust, and to provide an indoor unit equipped with the same, of an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 100 of the air conditioner includes an indoor unit body 10, an air distribution fan 20, a heat exchanger 30, the air filter 40, an air filter advance-retract mechanism 50, an air filter guide device 60, and an air filter cleaning device 70. The air filter cleaning device 70 includes a surface cleaning brush 72 guided by the air filter guide device 60 to be brought into contact with an air filter surface 40a facing downward when it is retracted by the air filter advance-retract mechanism 50, a back side cleaning brush 71 capable of being brought into contact with an air filter back side 40b facing upward, and a dust collecting chamber 74 for storing the dust removed from the air filter 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
