<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an orthodontic mucosal protective sheet allowing a patient oneself to easily install the orthodontic mucosa protective sheet in a state of concealing an orthodontic bracket, and allowing the patient oneself to easily uninstall the orthodontic mucosa protective sheet, too. <P>SOLUTION: This orthodontic mucosal protective sheet 1 includes: a sheet body part 2 for concealing the orthodontic bracket 20 fixed to a tooth 10; and a wire installation part 3 detachably installed to an arch wire 30 passed through an arch wire slot 21 of the orthodontic bracket 20. The sheet body part 2 includes the smooth front face 2a, and is integrally formed with the wire installation part 3 on the rear face 2b. It is not necessary for a dentist to install/uninstall the orthodontic mucosal protective sheet 1, and the patient oneself can use the orthodontic mucosa protective sheet 1 by installing the orthodontic mucosa protective sheet as needs arise. Unlike the case of making the orthodontic bracket 20 a special structure and installing a cover to the bracket, the sheet 1 is installed regardless of the kind of the bracket to protect mucosa from the bracket 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
