<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify circuit design at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit design support device 1 includes a storage part 1a, a selection part 1b, a trace part 1c, and a control part 1d. The storage part 1a stores circuit connection information 2 of a circuit. The selection part 1b selects, from the circuit connection information 2, a storage element for holding an input signal input from an input terminal and outputting the signal from an output terminal on the basis of a clock signal. The trace part 1c traces logical connection from the input terminal of the selected storage element in a direction opposite to a signal propagation direction on the basis of the circuit connection information 2.
