<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a 3D display for naked eyes which sends a 3D image sent from a 3D image reproducing device, making the 3D image have different fields of view for the right eye and the left eye by placing a special filter on the front face of a liquid crystal display so as to present an effect of 3D view, since a distance of about 3 m is necessary (in the case of 42 inches) so as to obtain 3D view, the image becomes blurred and the 3D view is hardly seen at a shorter distance, besides a larger screen requires a longer distance (approximately 5 m in the case of 70 inches). <P>SOLUTION: A placement of a water tank filled with water in front of the 3D display for naked eyes produces a lens effect. A focal distance of 3 m normally necessary for 42 inches can be reduced to about 1.5 m owing to the placement. Besides, a viewer naturally can have a distance from a screen because of the water tank lying between the screen and him/her, a roughness of the screen is eliminated and the viewer can enjoy 3D image having an eye-friendly picture quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
