<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition suitable for an optical material having high transparency, excellent resistance to thermal discoloration and a low Abbe's number, and to provide a cured product. <P>SOLUTION: The curable composition contains (A) an organic compound having at least two carbon-carbon double bonds having reactivity with SiH groups in one molecule, (B) a compound having at least two SiH groups in one molecule, and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst as essential components, and is regulated so that the content of heterocycle-containing components may be 0.1-20 wt.%, the content of components containing cyclic unsaturated organic structures may be 79.9-10 wt.%, and the content of components having structures represented by the general formula: (O-SiR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>-O) (wherein, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each hydrogen, alkyl such as methyl, ethyl and propyl, an aromatic group such as phenyl, tolyl and xylyl, and may be the same or different functional groups) may be 20-70 wt.%, based on 100 wt.% of the total resin components (A) and (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
