STORAGE TANK FOR LOW-TEMPERATURE FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vaporization (boil-off) of a low-temperature fluid in a low-temperature fluid storage chamber.

SOLUTION: A storage tank 60 for a low-temperature fluid includes a low-temperature fluid storage chamber 62 storing a low temperature solid-liquid two phase fluid and a vacuum heat insulated chamber 61 housing the low-temperature fluid storage chamber 62. A heat insulating material 63 having small thermal conductivity is attached to a side surface and an upper surface excluding a bottom surface, out of the inner surfaces of the low-temperature fluid storage chamber 62.
