<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for array data wave correction. <P>SOLUTION: A method of correcting a wave artifact of hybridization signal data includes the steps of: (a) segmenting measured hybridization signal data on a test sample to be hybridized and a contrast sample to a pair of probes, where each of the probes covers a probe coupling section of the contrast sample; (b) determining at least one GC content value of at least one genome area including at least one probe coupling section for each probe; (c) obtaining predictive hybridization signal data for each probe by taking multivariate polynomial regression analysis by using the at least one GC content value determined as an explanatory variate in the step (b) and the measured hybridization signal data as a response variate; and further (d) obtaining corrected hybridization signal data by subtracting the predictive hybridization signal data from the measured hybridization signal data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
