A method of repairing a fuel nozzle (100) is disclosed comprising the steps of: forming a pilot assembly (808); installing into a repair bore (801); inserting a primary adaptor (820) into a repair bore (801) such that the primary adaptor 820 is in flow communication with a pilot flow passage (102) and the pilot assembly (808); and coupling the primary adaptor (820) to a distributor (300) and the new pilot assembly (808). A repairable fuel nozzle (100) is disclosed, comprising an adaptor (820) configured to direct a fuel flow from at least one flow passage (102) in a fuel distributor (300) to a pilot assembly (808) comprising a fuel swirler (603).
