<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core metal for resin welding which enables easy improvement of the joining strength between a resin outer peripheral material and the core metal for resin welding. <P>SOLUTION: In welding the resin outer peripheral material 30 with a side peripheral surface 21 of the core metal 20 for resin welding by engaging the core metal 20 for resin welding in an engagement hole 31 of the resin outer peripheral material 30 and performing induction heating, a flat inside-wall surface 32 is disposed in the engagement hole 31 of the resin outer peripheral material 30, and an irregular part 24 in which two or more streak-like protrusions 26 are arranged to be adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and flat parts 25 formed on the sides of both ends of the streak-like protrusions 26 are disposed on the side peripheral surface 21 of the core metal 20 for resin welding. The tops of the streak-like protrusions 26 are brought into contact with the flat inside-wall surface 32 by engaging the engagement hole 31 of the resin outer peripheral material 30 in the side peripheral surface 21 of the metal core 20 for resin welding in such a way as to make the flat parts 25 opposite to each other.
