LIGHTING COVER MADE OF POLYCARBONATE RESIN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting cover which is made of a polycarbonate resin having high optical characteristics and excellent flame retardancy and is suitable for an LED light source in particular.

SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin lighting cover is produced by molding a polycarbonate resin composition consisting of a polycarbonate resin, an organometallic salt compound, a fiber-forming fluorine-containing polymer, a specific organopolysiloxane and a light diffusion agent. A test piece with a thickness of 1.5 mm prepared by molding the resin composition has the V-0 grade in a burning test and exhibits a total light transmittance measured with the test piece with a thickness of 1.5 mm of 50% or more and cloudiness (haze) of 80% or more.
