<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule capable of preventing pistoning phenomenon and ensuring low cost and high reliability without rendering a structure complicated and large-sized, excellent in mass productivity, and enabling the number of man-hour to be reduced, and to provide also an adhesion fixing structure of a ferrule and an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: A ferrule 23 has an adhesive through-hole 28 penetrating from a ferrule side face 24 to an optical fiber insertion hole 27. The ferrule 23 and an optical fiber 21 inserted into the ferrule 23 are fixed to each other by filling an adhesive 38 into the adhesive through-hole 28 and the optical fiber insertion hole 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
