<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating a blow molding apparatus capable of effectively reusing exhaust air as operating air and suppressing variations in quality of molded bodies. <P>SOLUTION: After feeding blow air to an intermediate product to expand it into a predetermined shape, exhaust air is collected to an operation air tank to be reused as operation air. In this process, the exhaust air is collected until a pressure in the operation air tank reaches a saturation state value, and if the pressure in the operation air tank at this time point does not reach a first set pressure P1, and during a period of time from that time to starting of next exhaust air collection, air is compressed and supplied from an air source to the operation air tank at a predetermined timing to increase the pressure in the operation air tank up to a predetermine pressure in order to make the pressure in the operation air tank at the time point when the collection of the exhaust air is started become a second set pressure P2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
