<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic solar cell which has superior photoelectric conversion efficiency and can be manufactured at a low cost, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The organic solar cell comprises a first electrode 101, a second electrode 108, a photoactive layer 104 interposed between the first electrode 101 and the second electrode 108, and an electron extraction layer 106 interposed between the photoactive layer 104 and the second electrode 108.
