<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make VCOM voltage adjustable so that a flicker becomes invisible over the whole display area. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises: two parallel gate wiring lines within a display area; two gate routing wiring lines routed outside the display area to have different length, and connected to the two gate wiring lines; a plurality of TFT elements connected to the gate wiring lines; a plurality of pixel electrodes connected to either one of the two gate wiring lines through each TFT element; and a holding capacitor wiring line insulated from the gate wiring lines. A holding capacitor is formed between the holding capacitor wiring line and the pixel electrode. A plurality of pixel portions each including the plurality of the pixel electrodes are connected to the gate wiring lines. A first holding capacitor of the plurality of the pixel portions connected to the shorter gate routing wiring line out of the two gate routing wiring lines through the gate wiring lines is larger than a second holding capacitor of the plurality of the pixel portions connected to the longer gate routing wiring line out of the two gate routing wiring lines through the gate wiring lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
