<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a related method for an asynchronous code test in an integrated development environment (IDE). <P>SOLUTION: The IDE includes components which are a source code editor, an influence analyzer, a test case launcher, a graphical user interface (GUI), and a data base. All the components are simultaneously executed for asynchronous real-time code editing. When a code block of an input code is altered, a test case is automatically generated, and start priority is computed based upon relation between the altered code block and each code block to be influenced by the alteration.
