<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm unit capable of eliminating uneasiness given to a user at a failure diagnosis of a buzzer and to provide a buzzer fault diagnosis method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: An alarm unit 1 outputs an alarm tone from a buzzer 40 to inform an abnormal condition when an abnormal condition is detected. The alarm unit 1 comprises a buzzer control part 21 for controlling output of an alarm tone from the buzzer 40 when the abnormal condition is detected, and a failure diagnosis part 22 for diagnosing a failure of the buzzer. When the buzzer control part 21 controls output of alarm tone from the buzzer 40, the failure diagnosis part 22 diagnoses failure of the buzzer 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
