<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of adjusting axial deviation by a proper adjusting allowable value and easily adjusting an optical axis direction, and provide an optical data link using the optical module. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module in which an optical fiber 13 and at least one optical element are optically coupled via an optical lens comprises: a condensing unit mounted with a first condenser lens 21 optically connected to the optical fiber 13; and transmission units 17a and 17b mounted with at least second condenser lenses 22a and 22b. One beam waist position of the first condenser lens 21 is an optical coupling surface with the optical fiber 13 and the other beam waist position is each joining fixed surfaces 12a and 12b of a body 11 of the condensing unit coupled and fixed with the transmission units 17a and 17b. The first condenser lens 21 and the second condenser lenses 22a and 22b are optically coupled via a light transmission hole of the joining fixed surface of the body 11.
