<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide film having a mechanism for stably controlling optical loss due to an external stress, moisture penetration and breakage. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical waveguide film 100 which includes a core 102, a plurality of optical waveguides 101 having clad 103, a bag-shaped member 104 which covers the optical waveguide 101 portion, and a viscous material 105 filled in the bag-shaped member 104, the bag-shaped member 104 is formed of a flexible polymer material, and the viscous material 105 desirably has a low viscosity so that local heating is easy to be uniformly performed due to convection of the viscous material 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
