TENSILE FORCE EVALUATION DEVICE AND TENSILE FORCE EVALUATION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensile force evaluation device and method capable of highly precisely evaluating a tensile force from a torsional torque by focusing an attention on a relation between the torsional torque and the tensile force.

SOLUTION: This tensile force evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a torque detection section that includes a torque loading part that applies a torsion of a prescribed angle to a long body to which a tensile force is applied, and a sensor part detecting a change in a physical amount that is generated in the long body due to the torsion applied by the torsion loading part: an operation section that has a torque conversion program for converting the torsional torque of the long body based on the change in the physical amount and a tensile force conversion program for converting the tensile force applied to the long body based on the converted torsional torque; a display section for displaying the converted tensile force. The tensile force evaluation method using the tensile force evaluation device is also provided.
