The method includes: determining the load status of the power-on base band plates in a base band pool (101); selecting at least one power-on plate of which load status is below than a set threshold according to the load status of the power-on base band plates (102); transferring the service on the selected power-on base band plate to at least one power-on base band plate except the selected power-on base band plate, and performing energy-saving processing for the selected power-on base band plate (103). The present invention is suitable for the processing device based on the base band pool.
