The material has a base material (10) obtained such that metal fittings are removed from entire shoes (11), which are cut in rotating screw knives to maximum 5 mm size particles. The shoes are deodorized by superheated steam and hot air (15), and are homogenized by mixing. The sole material is deodorized in a closed tunnel-shaped device with the superheated steam of up to 120 degree Celsius. Filling materials such as China clay, calcium carbonate and gas powder influence hardness during mixing of the base material.
