<p>A coarse synchronization method and device for cell search is provided in the present invention, and said method includes: calculating the chip power of each chip in one or more continuously received sub-frame data, and obtaining the accumulated chip power of the protection time slot (GP1), of the down link synchronous code (SYNC-DL), of part of downlink conventional time slot (TS0) and of part of primary protection time slot (GP) data segments respectively; according to the preset rule, obtaining the characteristic value of the down link synchronous code (SYNC-DL) by using the accumulated chip power of said GP1, of said SYNC-DL, of said TS0 and of said GP data segments; and determining the position in which the characteristic value of said down link synchronous code (SYNC-DL) is maximum as the coarse synchronization position of the initial period of cell search. The present invention can avoid the inaccurate coarse synchronization caused by the signal distortion in a certain degree, and enhance the system stability.</p> |
