PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: an inner frame 28 having a space 30 inside and arranged on a reflection sheet 26; a light guide plate 22 arranged in a space 30 of the inner frame 28 so as to be opposite to the reflection sheet 26; and a liquid crystal panel 10 disposed on the inner frame 28. The inner frame 28 has a surface having a first area 40 and a second area 42 and facing toward a lower frame 34. The reflection sheet 26 has a shape formed so as to be opposite to the first area 40 of the inner frame 28 and not to be opposite to the second area 42. The first area 40 of the inner frame 28 and the reflection sheet 26 are bonded or jointed by a first holding member 44 interposed between them. The second area 42 of the inner frame 28 and the lower frame 34 are bonded or joined by a second holding member 46 interposed between them. The first and second holding members 44 and 46 are arranged so as not to overlap.
