<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for cooling a battery of a vehicle by using a cooling liquid circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This cooling system (1) includes: a pump device (13); a heat exchanger (5) for transmitting heat between a cooling liquid and the battery (2); a heat exchanger (6) for transmitting heat between the cooling liquid and an atmosphere; and a heat exchanger (10) for transmitting heat between the cooling liquid and a refrigerant which circulates in a refrigerant circuit (4). The refrigerant circuit (4) is designed together with a heat exchanger (19) and associated expanders. The refrigerant circuit (4) includes the two expanders (14, 15), the first expander (14) is arranged upstream of the heat exchanger (10) in a refrigerant flow direction, and the second expander (15) is arranged downstream of the heat exchanger (10). Thus, the heat exchangers (10, 19) which are designed as evaporators at a refrigerant side can be operated at different pressure and different temperature levels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
