<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of efficiently condensing light to make a superb point light source. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a rotating member 110 having a light emitting part 112 and structured so as the light emitting part 112 to rotate, an excitation light source 120 irradiating the light emitting part 112 with excited light, and a reflecting member 130 having a reflecting surface 131 for reflecting light emitted at the light emitting part 112 by the excited light.
