<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus capable of reducing an unnecessary signal component included in a reception signal, and, especially, accurately evaluating the disturbance of phases even when a return occurs in phase distribution in a reception signal line direction. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of reception signals having been subjected to delay processing but having not been subjected to summing processing are converted into a plurality of complex signals. A phase difference is computed for each adjacent channel, based on a plurality of complex signals. The average value of the phase differences is obtained as the value to indicate the disturbance degree of the phases, and a factor for varying the gain of the reception signal is computed based on the average value. When the phases are greatly disturbed in the reception signal line direction, the average value is increased, and accordingly, a factor is reduced. Consequently, the gain of the reception signal is reduced and thereby the unnecessary signal component is effectively reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
