PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystalline aromatic polymer fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin achieving sufficient strength property while allowing remolding after producing a molded product and then crushing the molded product, a liquid crystalline aromatic polymer fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin, and a molded product thereof.

SOLUTION: In the method for producing a liquid crystalline aromatic polymer fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin, fibrillated liquid crystalline aromatic polymer fiber and a thermoplastic resin are melt and mixed by a batch type closed kneading device having a kneading chamber equipped with a rotating shaft having rotating blades, and after rotational torque of the rotating shaft reaches a minimum value and then increases, the melting and mixing is stopped. The fibrillated liquid crystalline aromatic polymer fiber has whisker-shaped fibrils, and the fiber diameter of the whisker-shaped fibril is 0.2-2.0 μm.
