The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing alcoholic liver diseases, containing cilostazol as an active ingredient. Particularly, cilostazol concentration-dependently inhibits the expression level of TNF-a and the genes of fatty acid synthase (FAS) and significantly inhibits the activity of caspase-3, thereby showing superior effects in treating or preventing alcoholic liver diseases, particularly alcoholic hepatitis, compared to pentoxifylline, which had been used as a therapeutic agent for alcoholic hepatitis, and thus can be used as a drug for treating or preventing alcoholic hepatitis.
