BACKLIGHT MODULE

A backlight module comprises a light guide plate (21), a backboard (23) and light-emitting components (25). The light guide plate (21) is roughly triangular prism shape. The backboard is arranged with a shape corresponding to the light guide plate and provided with a first lateral plate (231) and a second lateral plate (232) oblique with respective to the first lateral plate (231). The first lateral plate (231) and the second lateral plate (232) are respectively provided with at least one receiving groove (233, 234). The light-emitting components (25) are arranged in the groove. Compared to the side lighting backlight module, the aluminum extrusion for heat dissipation is omitted. Compared to the directly backlight module, the light mixing distance is reduced on the vertical direction, thus the thickness of the module is decreased.
