<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a transonic blade that is used in a transonic or supersonic flow field in an axial-flow rotary machine, said transonic blade being capable of simultaneously reducing shock-wave losses at the design point and increasing the stall margin. In order to achieve said purpose, in this transonic blade, which is used in a flow field wherein some or all of the air flowing past is moving at transonic or greater speeds, the cross-section at each point along the height of the blade is moved parallel to a staggered line (38) that connects the leading edge (34) and trailing edge (35) of the blade. Also, the cross-section at each point along the height of the blade is formed such that: a stacking line (36) which connects the positions of the centers of gravity of the blade cross-sections at each point along the height moves upstream through the working fluid, said stacking line running from a hub cross-section (31) that connects to a shaft of the rotary machine or an outer casing to a tip cross-section (33) that is at the point farthest from the hub cross-section in the height direction of the blade; and the points of maximum thickness of the blade cross-sections at each point along the height, from the hub cross-section (31) to the tip cross-section (33), move in the direction of the trailing edge of the blade.</p> |
