<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display a desired image by facilitating specification of an image to be displayed when a user instructs to display an image on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: According to instructions by a user, positions on a display screen designated by the user are specified, and information that is information determined by specified first and second positions and indicates data to be displayed among plural pieces of data is displayed on the display screen. Then, when a third position is further specified by the user, it is determined whether an instruction by the user for designating the third position is a predetermined instruction different from an instruction for designating the second position.
