<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel application technique for an estimation model for a station use rate taking various elements affecting the station use rate into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A use rate estimation model to which a huff model is applied calculates the probability that a person in some zone uses an object station among a plurality of available stations based upon time distances (distance equivalent values) D from the zone to the respective stations, and degrees S of attraction of the respective stations, and constructs a plurality of types of use rate estimation models which are different in convenience index values (x) as the degrees S of attraction of the stations. The plurality of types of use rate estimation models are used to estimate changes in the use rates of the stations resulting from timetable revision and to determine which convenience index value (d) change is effective for improvement in the use rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
