<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the seal device of an oxygen compressor capable of adequately regulating the supply amount of seal gas. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 31 regulates the opening of a flow rate adjusting valve 28 of a trunk seal gas feeding pipe 11 so that a difference between the seal gas supply pressure to the seal pocket 8 of a shaft seal device body A attached to a compressor 1 and the oxygen suction pressure of the compressor 1 lies in a range of 2-3 kPa(G). When the oxygen suction pressure of the compressor 1 becomes low, a large amount of nitrogen is not blown into the atmosphere, and the consumption of nitrogen can be reduced. On the other hand, when the oxygen suction pressure of the compressor 1 becomes high, a large amount of oxygen is not blown into the atmosphere, and oxygen can be efficiently collected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
